Doreen Starling

Roanoke, VA

Doreen Starling is a painter living in Roanoke, VA. She received her Master of Arts degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore. Her work has been exhibited nationally, primarily in Maryland and Virginia. She has won juried awards from the Maryland Federation of Art (Annapolis, MD), the Howard County Arts Council (Columbia, MD), Art Studio on the Boulevard (Virginia Beach, VA), and Bower Center for the Arts (Bedford, VA). Her artwork was featured in Link: A Critical Journal on the Arts in Baltimore and the World, and twice in the journal Artemis. She is currently an artist member of Market Gallery, located in Roanoke.
